STEERING

The MX18G from Hydrema offers an advanced steering experience that combines hydraulic steering with the option of emergency steering. To add even more to the user experience, joystick steering is also available as an option. The MX18G from Hydrema is equipped with a state-of-the-art hydraulic system that includes a two-circuit Load Sensing system and a high-pressure hydrostatic bending system with separate pump for optimal performance. This system is enhanced with electronic power regulation and Mode Control, which allows switching between precision work and ECO Mode to save fuel. Up to three hydraulic circuits are available, two of which are standard and all of which are adjustable from the cab.

ENGINE

This engine includes state-of-the-art technology such as DOC, DPF and an SCR catalyst with AdBlue addition. It delivers impressive performance with up to 175 hp (129 kW) and a maximum torque of 780 Nm. To support long-term and efficient operation, the MX18G is equipped with a 73.96 gallons fuel tank and a 8.3 gallon AdBlue tank, ideal for long working days without frequent refuelling stops.

DRIVING HYDRAULICS & TRANSMISSION

The MX18G from Hydrema ensures exceptional mobility with its hydrostatic propulsion and constant 4-wheel drive. Equipped with a variable electronically controlled drive motor and brake valve, it guarantees a smooth and controlled drive. With its 2-speed soft-shift Power shift transmission, suitable for both on- and off-road gears, the MX18G offers the choice between manual and automatic shifting, giving the operator maximum flexibility and comfort in all working conditions.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

With its advanced 24V electrical system, the MX18G from Hydrema ensures trouble-free operation and long service life. The system includes a powerful 70 Amp. generator and two robust 12V, 100Ah batteries. The wiring is both robust and protected, with waterproof connectors for external use, guaranteeing flawless operation. Easy access to fuses and relays next to the cab through the service hatch makes maintenance and inspection simple. An emergency operation function ensures operation in the event of an electronics failure, and an automatic circuit breaker adds an extra layer of safety. AUTOMATIC CIRCUIT BREAKER

The MX18G from Hydrema is equipped with an easy-to-use automatic circuit breaker. When the operator switches off the machine and leaves the cab, all electrical systems are automatically switched off, saving energy and increasing safety. The system is easily reactivated when the driver returns, thanks to sensors in the doors. With a built-in timer and shutdown process that can be controlled from the dashboard, this feature is both intuitive and convenient. Additionally, an emergency switch is located in the cab, providing an extra layer of security measures.

OPERATION

Operating Hydrema's MX18G is both simple and efficient thanks to its well-designed control system. Multi-function joysticks, including proportional servo functions, a roller and push buttons, provide precise control. Separate foot pedals for the two-part boom and supports/dozer blade increase operator comfort. The operator can easily adjust pressure and oil flow for the option hydraulics directly from the instrument panel, and further customization is possible with optional advanced joystick configurations. SLEW SYSTEM

The MX18G's innovative high-pressure hydrostatic slewing system significantly improves the machine's maneuverability. This system partially recycles the braking energy to the diesel engine, increasing operational efficiency. Equipped with an integrated mechanical slew brake and soft start function with angle sensors, the MX18G offers a smooth swing speed of 10.8 rpm and a powerful swing torque of 50 kNm, making it optimal for precision work.

BRAKES

The MX18G is equipped with a highly efficient braking system for increased safety and control. It has a two-wheel system with maintenance-free oil-immersed brakes on all wheels, ensuring stable and reliable breaking. With an integrated parking brake in the transmission and a standard automatic digging brake, the MX18G combines efficiency with ease of use, making it a safe choice for all types of jobs.

CAB

This wheeled excavator offers a spacious and comfortable ROPS cab, designed with operator comfort in mind. The cab features an efficient air conditioning system with seven adjustable air nozzles and an air-suspension seat to ensure comfortable working in all conditions. A large 10" display with touch controls and an armrest controller makes it easy to monitor and control the machine's functions. The cab is also equipped with a sliding window in the door and a two-piece windscreen, of which the upper part can be opened and the lower part completely removed, as well as a practical roof window for increased visibility. Comfort is further enhanced with an adjustable steering column and multi-adjustable armrest. Large rear-view mirrors with electronic adjustment and a reversing camera integrated into the display ensure a good overview. In addition, the cab offers practical storage space under and behind the seat, making the MX18G a functional and comfortable workplace.

SOUND LEVEL

With Hydrema's MX18G you get a remarkably quiet working experience. The cab sound level is pleasantly low at only 68 dB(A), while the exterior sound level remains moderate at 102 dB(A).
