The Hydrema DT22HM is a 20 tonne articulated dump truck designed for applications where low ground pressure and high stability are essential. Built on Hydrema’s articulated chassis with hydraulic stabilisers and bogie rear axles, the DT22HM delivers excellent traction and balance in demanding terrain. POWERFUL PERFORMANCE AND INTELLIGENT CONTROL

The Hydrema DT22HM is powered by a Cummins B 6.7 litre 6-cylinder Stage V engine delivering 231 kW / 314 hp at 2200 rpm and 1288 Nm of torque at 1500 rpm. The engine is equipped with DOC, DPF and SCR catalyst with AdBlue addition, ensuring compliance with the strictest emission standards.

The machine is fitted with a ZF ERGOPOWER automatic transmission with 6 forward and 3 reverse gears and 100% lock-up in all gears. Combined with a proportional hydraulic retarder and integrated brake control, the DT22HM ensures smooth gear changes, efficient power transfer and controlled braking performance. With a maximum speed of 50 km/h forward and 31 km/h in reverse, the DT22HM delivers strong tractive effort and reliable performance across challenging job sites.

CHASSIS

Articulated chassis with pendulum bar and double hydraulic stabilizers in the center pivot. New longer cylinders, improving directional steering force. Class leading stability both when driving and unloading. Fuel tank 300 l. Ad Blue tank: 36,5 l. Oscillation: +/- 12°.


AXLES

Front: Rigid axle with electronically controlled suspension and level control. Individual level control on each side aligns the machine in optimal position. Improved differential lock with 75% locking action. Rear: Bogie axle with diff-lock and large pendulum angle. Both axles feature speed-sensors to monitor wheel rotation speed.


HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

Consists of 5 hydraulic pumps:
Pump 1: 31 l/min constant flow pump for brakes, stabilizer, diff erential lock and suspension. Pump 2: 185 l/min variable pump for articulated steering.
Pump 3: 195 l/min constant flow pump for body/retarder. Pump 4: 195 l/min constant flow pump for additional retarder. Pump 5: 20 l/min pump for emergency steering.


BRAKES / RETARDER

Full dual-circuit, parallel, brake system with oil immersed disc brakes on all 6 wheels. Fail-Safe parking brake on the front axle. Maintenance free brakes. Additional safety is provided via a rearview camera that provides improved visibility. Emergency button to stop vehicle in a controlled manner. The Retarder is a combination of engine brake and a proportional hydraulic retarder controlled by the brake pedal. Max. Retarder Power: 230 kW/312 hp


ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Standard 24V system with 70 Amp. alternator. Starter batteries: 2x 12V, 95Ah + Backup battery: 25Ah LiPo which powers sleep functions.

DUMP TRUCK BODY

Body in high tensile Hardox 450 steel with-out side ribs. The double action tipping cylinders are located under the body for maximum protection. New angle sensor to maximize roll-over safety and monitor height limitations. Option: exhaust heated body and hydraulic activated tail gate. Tipping time: Up 7,5 sec. / Down 5,5 sec. Tipping angle: 70°.


STEERING

Hydrostatic steering with separate variable pump for steering function. Max. steering angle: +/- 38º
