906F / 908F
To a great extent, the two models 906F and 908F are identical in terms of design and specifications, except for the design used for the excavator arm. They both have a strong state of the art Cummins QSB 4.5 EPA Tier 4 Final engine and a rubber-suspended cabin.
The rubber-suspension reduce vibration which contributes to a comfortable and productive working environment throughout a long working day.
The F-Series is available with or without Hydrema’s unique side shifting of the excavator arm. On the 906F the excavator arm can be side shifted hydraulically by 63 inches offering an impressive digging range of 280° - which by the way is the largest on the market. So if you are parked in a slightly odd angle, you can still work efficently without having to re-position the entire machine.
The 908F excavator arm is centre-mounted, giving a digging range of 200°. The mobility can be increased by a side angling knuckle boom (optional), which extends the digging range to 250°. One advantage of a center-mounted excavator arm is to obtain a higher lifting capacity. The 908F centre-mounted excavator arm gives you a lifting capacity of 3.750 lbs and an excavating depth up to 17'8'' (or 21'8'' m with an optional telescopic arm - also available for the 906F)
With the newest Generation – the F-series – our backhoe loaders have been re-engineered to accommodate a more compact design, making it the perfect multipurpose machine that can handle many different tasks on the construction site.
The 906F and 908F backhoe loaders have a fully re-designed front-chassis which optimizes the operator’s visibility from the cab. This provides a better view at the front shovel as well as down the side of the engine bonnet when mounting attachments.
The engine in 906F and 908F delivers more power than in previous models, namely 122 hp (90 kW). Furthermore the maximum torque of 470 Nm is reached already at 1500 rpm. This allows you to work efficiently at low engine revolutions.
The cummins QSB 4.5 engine complies with EPA Tier 4 Final by using a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and Selective Catalythic Reduction (SCR) catalyst with AdBlue additive.
