Overvognen på M1700C series 2 er ekstremt kompakt. Med en meget lille svingradius bag, og en helt speciel kinematik på den to-delte bom, kan der arbejdes under selv de mest trange pladsforhold, uden at det går ud over ydeevnen.  Ingen anden gravemaskine i denne klasse har tilpasset svingradius for og bag, så der kan arbejdes inden for en total arbejdsradius på 3,4 m. Dette gør maskinen ideel til at arbejde f.eks. på en vej, hvor der arbejdes i én vejbane, mens den anden kan holdes fri. På trods af de kompakte dimensioner har maskinen samme ydelse som en normal 17 tons maskine. M1700C series 2 er markedets mest ideelle citymaskine, kompakt, stærk og hurtig.

Under carriage with great stability and high safety level

The robot-welded, sturdy under carriage in box profile ensures a maximum of torsional stability. The modular design offers the possibility to attach dozer blade and stabilisers front or rear.

The broad, individually ajustable stabilisers are a great advantage when handling heavy loads, ensuring perfect levelling of the machine, increasing safety and performance. The large clearance height, the large wheeles and the immersed disc brakes ensures good passage and max. brake performance in all conditions. The digger-brake activates the brake in all 4 hubs an keps the machine rock solid whilst excavating. The self-levelling dozer blade ensures the best stability when excavating or lifting and is ideal for clearing up after.

During transport the hydrostatic drive with 2 step power shift transmission ensures high speed or max. tractive force in all conditions. Easy gearshift under load, also when shifting between creep- and transport gear. A large, lockable tool box is integrated between the wheel fairings on both sides of the machine.

Load Sensing – precision and high performance

An advanced demand-controlled hydraulic Load Sensing system guarantees an independent control of all functions and uncomplicated, precise manouvering. A separate pump ensures a 100% independent swing function. Together with the powerful engine the Load Sensing system assures that demanding work is performed with effortless ease.

A huge supply of hydraulic oil and large break-out forces result in fast duty cycles and high productivity, along with high precision and performance. The hydraulic mode control ensures that movements can be switched from high to low speed at the touch of a button and an advanced power control system makes the engine always run at optimal engine rpm.

Engine - Quiet and powerful

Convincing engine performance with plenty of torque. The machines in Hydrema’s C series 2 range are equipped with a Perkins stage 3a common rail engine that produces 96 kW/131 hp. Despite developing plenty of power, the engine is characterised by its quietness. The impressive amount of torque means that work can be carried out even at low revs, which in turn reduces fuel consumption and noise levels considerably.

On the computer display 4 modes of operation can be chosen whereby the engine revs are electronically regulated depending on the task in question, thus ensuring that the engine always performs in the optimum manner. The automatic idling system reduces noise and fuel consumption.
